Application Form
Parents do not have any legal claim that their infants be admitted to the German School. We recommend parents to register their children as early as possible as both school and kindergarten have a limited capacity. You may place your child on waiting lists if there are no more places available in a class or group. Every time a new place becomes available your child will move up on that list according to its position.
Procedure
- We ask parents to fill in and send off one online application form for each child (no matter whether the child is going to attend the school, pre-school oder the kindergarten).
- Parents will then receive a preliminary confirmation email from us once we have provisionally checked the application. As for school applicants for the 2nd grade or higher, the main criterion for a child to be admitted will be its knowledge of German in accordance with its age. However, for applicants for the kindergarten, pre-school and the 1st grade, knowledge of German will not be a criterion for admittance. The preliminary confirmation email will ask parents to submit the child’s following additional documents:
- copy of birth certificate
- copy of international passport including visa / residence permit
- copies of school certificates (of last two school years)
- key data sheet (download here as PDF)
- These documents need to be submitted to the school. Please note that any final admittance to the German School St. Petersburg will be binding only after you have payed the admittance fee.
